Standing down today due to strong upper level winds. Now targeting launch of PAZ for February 22 at 6:17 a.m. PST from Vandenberg Air Force Base.

This morning SpaceX will attempt to launch a Falcon 9 with a couple interesting payloads on board. An earth surface mapping satellite called PAZ, and two small non-geo stationary orbit satellites called Microsat-2a and 2b designed to test broadband networking from space.
And Mr Steven is a boat that will attempt to recover two farings from the launch. We assume details will emerge on this soon, but some pictures have been floating around. It resembles a net that might catch trapeze artists at a circus. Pretty cool.
SpaceX has said they will not try to recover today’s stage 1 booster as it has been used before.
