In an effort to make it SUPER easy on guests a few months ago when I started in earnest to do the podcast again, I switched to a cloud recording provider called Castr (or something, the name and url are confusing). It had some quirks but making a microphone and browser the only guest requirement seemed worth it.
I recorded three podcasts in a row that I was going to publish one week at a time (I have a day job). About a week and a half ago they started having problems and it turns out that they had a major problem with their main file server host.
After zero response I’ve now given up trying to get those recordings back and have to go back to those guests and make a case to do it all over again.
Good news is that I found Zencastr which not only has more features for the same price, it actually works!
Thanks for your patience!
