Evadot has tried a lot of things over the last 3 years. Long time readers may remember that we had a short lived comic featuring our in house lunar rover “HAL”.
In the middle of HAL’s journey, he gets a package.
Today, I opened my front door at home to a box with German and US customs stickers all over it.

If you can’t make it out from the photos, this is an entire Generation 1 rover prototype from the Google Lunar X PRIZE team Part Time Scientists.
WOOT!
We’re kicking off a huge new series on DIY space next week and this will be the perfect first project. A lunar rover prototype.
Let’s hope it turns out better for me than it did for HAL…

Also im Grunde ist das alles ganz einfach zusammenzubauen. Man braucht sich nur einen R0 Rover etwas genauer anzuschauen und dann baut man das nach seinem Vorbild zusammen. Da braucht man gar keine Bedienungsanleitung 😛
