Got this picture from my brother in law this afternoon of my nephews. Xander and Brooks look to the sky and see a place they can go. Most kids don’t let excuses, like the 100 degree heat on the east coast today, get in their way. It was too hot to go outside so instead they converted some airplane toys and blocks into their very own spaceport.
We can learn from and inspire kids by building in the face of adversities. Issues like “my program got cancelled” or “I don’t know how to raise the money” shouldn’t hold us back from achieving more.
