		<description>First off, I&#039;ve always been a huge fan of space and rockets.  &lt;br&gt;And, I think your comments are right on mark.  &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;We went to the moon (which required lots of stuff to be developed) then we quit leaving a lot of loose ends, extra rockets, Skylab, etc.  In hindsight, that seems silly.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The shuttle isn&#039;t reusable.  A pool of 100 capsules that could be to some extend re-furbishable might have been something to look into.  Or flyback boosters.  &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The commercial (semiconductors, medicine) interest in the space station seems to have come and gone compared to some statements made in the 1980s.  &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;We don&#039;t use the ISS as a departure point for other missions.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;There seems to be a lot of &quot;Mars vs. Moon&quot; chatter out there. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;So, to summarize it:  Where are the goals and when are we going?
